Find us from Akakura Onsen
We are easy to find from the main Akakura area. Take the road next to the post office and then turn right down the hill next to Morino Lodge. Continue down the hill and on the third left you will find Restaurant Massa & Petit Hôtel des Eaux-Vives.
If you arrive at Myoko Kogen station we provide a free pick up service (subject to time/availability). Kogen taxi also offer an affordable way to get to Akakura. Their office is opposite the station and there is usually a taxi waiting outside.
Getting to Myoko by train
Getting to Myoko by train is pretty easy. The first part of your trip will involve getting from the airport to Tokyo train station. If you land at Narita you will take the NEX Narita express train direct to Tokyo station. You can find details below.
If you are coming from Haneda you will take the Tokyo Monorail on the Keihin Tohoku Line to Hamamatsucho Station and then transfer to the Yamanote Line and catch the train to Tokyo Station. Details linked below.
From Tokyo station you want to take the Nagano Asama Shinkansen on the Hokuriku line to Nagano station. Tickets can be purchased from a ticketing machine near the entrance gate. Once in Nagano get off the shinkansen and take the escalator up to the main station area. You will need to exit through the gates in order to buy a ticket for the local train. Tickets can also be purchased on the train or upon arrival to Myoko station.

Getting to Myoko by airport shuttle
There are two airport shuttle services that service the Myoko area during the winter season. Myoko Shuttle offers a direct bus. Nagano Snow Shuttle isnt direct but they have more services available.

Luggage Delivery Service
Using Yamatos delivery service you can send your luggage from the airport or your previous hotel direct to our hotel. This means you dont need to worry about carrying your heavy bags and transporting them on the train. You can also send your bags from our hotel to the airport so they are there waiting for you when you arrive.
Having your own transport is a very convenient way to get around Myoko and Japan. Nippon Rent A Car offer an English service with car pick up and drop off available from hundreds of locations all over Japan, including Joestsu Myoko train station. There are plenty of local bus services that can take you to all the ski resorts in the Myoko area as well the nearby Joetsu Myoko bullet train station.
